Apply for Funding
The mission of the Foundation for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue Initiatives (FIIDI) is to promote intercultural and interreligious understanding and to empower communities in peacebuilding activities that contribute to living together in dignity and dialogue. In an effort to achieve this mission, FIIDI has instituted the Unity Fund to support three grant-making programs:
- The Arts for Peace Program
- The Community Dialogue Program
- The Citizen Action to End Child and Forced Marriage Program
It also supports organizations in Africa that celebrate international days relevant to our work such as:
- The International Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief (22 August)
- The International Day of Peace (21 September)
- The International Day of Non-Violence (2 October)

The Arts for Peace Program
The mission of this program is to support opportunities for children and youth to engage in the arts and to discover things about themselves and others that will help them better deal with differences and handle conflicts peacefully.

The Community Dialogue Program
The mission of this program is to support projects that promote peacebuilding through intercultural and interreligious dialogue initiatives and conflict prevention services in different communities of Africa.

The Citizen Action to End Child and Forced
Marriage Program
The mission of this program is to support projects that mitigate or if not prevent the occurrence of child and forced marriages through coordinated actions by community leaders in Africa.
